it doesn't really matter why he wants them, he has just made up his mind that he does. he simply wants to know where to get some that will actually fit his car. you don't need to agree with him, that's why you have your own car.

Then he could say "I've made up my mind, for no good reason, that I want LED bulbs" rather than conjuring fictional justifications in the form of hand-frying, steak cooking map light bulbs.

He has the "I want"'s. Truth need not be a casualty of that.

Dude, what is your problem? Alright, in order to turn the map light off again after turning it on, one must touch it. During this point of contact between my finger and the light, the light is hot. I don't like it. I want it to be regular temperature. Thus I install LEDs and eliminate the problem. YES I LIKE THE FREAKING LOOKS, I MENTIONED THAT EVERY TIME but it does eliminate the heat problem when I turn the light off. The map light also got hot enough that when I turned the slider I could feel it and it was uncomfortable. With the LEDs from thebarber, the problem is eliminated, the light is brighter, and it's got a nice pure color instead of that nasty yellow.

thebarber, the LED package you put together is awesome! The entirety of the cabin is lit nice and bright :) Thanks!

I also bought a set of thebarber's LEDs and they're awesome!

Just one problem lol. When putting in one of the overheard lights (nearest the front of the car), the black glasket that holds the bulb fell out, and I cannot find it. Those bulbs were kinda hard to pull out so I guess it fell out when I yanked out the original incandescent bulb. Where can I buy a new one, if I can't find it?

Also, the dome light bulb does fit in the sedan trunk, just incase anyone was wondering. My car has an awesome glow w/ the lights on, now.

The trunk light in my sedan is the same as the map lights. How does the dome light fit in there?

Might've mixed up the terminology, I always confuse which is dome and which is map. The trunk light is the same bulb as the two closest to the driver, not the wedge bulb.

I'll post pics of my LEDs tonight if I remember to take some pics. I've been meaning to, but always forgot to.

it must be different for the 07 vs the 09 sedan then, looked at a list for the 07 sedan and map/dome are the same bulb size

Nope, don't go by the Sylvannia list. The map lights are 194's, and I forget what length the dome light is. Trunk is also a 194 connector.

Here are my LEDs:

Trunk:

(viewed from the rear door)

Dome light and map lights (viewed from the rear door)

Map lights and footwell lights (viewed from the front door)

Just the footwell LEDs

Info:
Trunk LEDs are three 6-inch V-LED strips rated at 5000k.
Dome and map lights are HiLEDs rated at 6000k.
Footwell LEDs are two 11-inch (one on each side) eBay strips. The order said white, but they're more like 8000k. Kinda disappointed since I would like everything to be 5000 or 6000k, but for 3 bucks each shipped, can't complaint too much.
