I dont know about the other cars you listed, but the Chevy Aveo gets really bad gas milage for such a small car...really bad...almost about the same as Buick LeSabre 3.8v6...

jk, way to go. You can use the money to upgrade a few things or help pay it off. From the manufacturer's web sites: (All manual trannys) Yaris Hatch: 6.9L/100KM in the city and 5.5L/100KM on the highway Fit: 7.3L100KM city, 5.8L/100KM highway Accent hatch 7.4 city, 6.3 highway Versa hatch 7.9 city 6.3 highway (6.1 with CVT tranny) Aveo 8.9 city 5.9 highway Ouch, check out the city kilometrage in the Aveo. Combined was 7.5! For some reason I thought the Fit wasn't that good, but it seems that it's not far off. Gas prices sure are hurting (comparatively speaking to before) Today I fueled up at $1.02 per litre. Most I've ever paid in my life. (Yes I know that other people in Europe pay way more) Where I live in Canada near Vancouver, BC, we don't pay a 12 cent transit levy although they want to put one in soon, but our gas is only maybe 5 cents cheaper. |

This is good BUT I don't understand why long term lease(me) people would not qualify if we had made the lease before March 07.

One thing I don't get is that they say the rules are that its below 6.5 L/100 km
but the official stats on the yaris, on the toyota website, in the brochure book, and on the government website, are 6.9 L/100km But on the website that has the vehicles listed it is 6.3 and 6.4 L /100 km Do they actually qualify or is it some kind of mistake haha - cause I have my yaris ordered (over a Honda Fit) specifically because of the $1000 rebate (well, and the exterior of the Yaris is much better than a Honda fit, and the Fit doesn't come in white :( |

let me explain....
the reason it went down to 6.3 is because it average the gas mile between hwy and city it should be 6.9 city + 5.5 hwy / 2 = about 6.278545 round off to 6.3 and that makes yaris on that average.
