IMHO that's pushing the boundries of the wheel to control the tyre contact patch. Safer to do a ring around to some tyre places and get their opinion. |

Abit exxy 119 per and including wheel alignment 500 all up @ Jax Southport... i need wheel alignment coz the handling dont feel right after i blew my steel rims thanks to a rather deep pot hole...
Size is 195/55R15... Jax said a 185/60 a Michelin will set me back 180 plus... and a Nexus is 150 per My other friend told me that Swift's Bridgestone Potenza (quoted at Jaz Springwood @ $128 per) is better than my Falken ZE329 in terms of handling but I told him that my treadwear is 480 where as the Potenza is 140... so should last me a good while since I do a lot of highway driving at the moment... FYI treadwear the higher the number the better... for 205s i think you better get a wider 7' 15's rims... otherwise you really asking for trouble... :P Last edited by Speedz; 09-28-2007 at 08:26 AM. |

180?!! what are they nuts?! you may as well just buy some nice rims and get free tyres! id rather have wider crappier tyres (215) to thin good ones (185):|
