I never realized John Wayne had small feet. I would venture to guess few guys ever told him so and lived.

The days "you are what you drive" kind of a thing, are pretty much over,
like most people I Got the Yaris for the economy and reliability, F--K what other people think. when gas goes 4$ Gal. and stays there and go up again, the Rednecks wont laugh at your Yaris anymore, they wont like their Dum Tonka Toys anymore. |

Marion first started out as contract actor as a romantic leading man. The problem was he couldn't act well enough. Enter the PR guys. They changed his name to John Wayne, created an image and persona for a guy who couldn't act. For the rest of his life, John wayne simply played the same part over and over and over.... to utilize his manufactured image. He was incapable of playing any other part John Wayne literally killed himself by chain smoking and gorging on red meat. Last edited by RedRide; 07-27-2010 at 12:38 AM. |

I do think of the Yaris as a girlie car not that that's a bad thing. Usually when I see them on the road or at my school, it's driven by a young female and there are stuffed animals on the dashboard or back window lol! It's like the Beetle. I don't think most guys like these small cute cars.
I will keep mine until I graduate.. at which time I've been promised an upgrade.. |

I do like the ride and styling of the Yaris but it took awhile. It almost looks like half a car or 3/4 of a car because the rear end is flat. This however makes it much easier to fit into smaller parking spaces. For a small car it sure is roomy inside.
I was looking around a Toyota showroom on Saturday and was looking at the Prius which gets up to 51 mpg. No wonder it is priced $10,000 higher than a Yaris. If I had the money I might have invested in a Prius. |

Trust me ... the Yaris being female friendly is a good thing. Who really wants to impress another man anyway, right?
Not that there's anything wrong with that ... and the Yaris has got you covered either way, just slap a rainbow sticker on it or whatever and you're good to go. That pretty much covers everyone, except for men with small coc*s out there compensating with oversized SUVs and trucks. Can't please everyone though. |

Maybe the Yaris is everybody friendly...

Yes you have. Clint Eastwood is another "actor" who can't act and plays the same manufactured part over and over.
In fact, early in his career, he got fired for being a bad actor. The sad fact is, as long as people will spend money to see (or hear) you , talent isn't nessary to be famous and make money mo matter what the media might be. |

You can add Steve McQueen to the list. He always did a bad James Dean impersonation.
