Mas maganda ang CAI (Cold air Intake) setup mas malamig ang higop ng hangin kasi usally nasa likod/baba ng bumper ang cone nito malayo sa engine. As what syntax said long tube ang gagamitin. Advantage: Malakas ang hatak. Disadvantage: Prone sa alikabok, buhangin, tilamsik ng tubig. SRI naman usually common setup sa most cars.

For me lang I prefer to use the K&N drop in filter. No modification/replacement sa tube ng intake. Para ka pa din naka stock iba lang ang gamit na filter iba na din ang higop ng hangin nya since you're using aftermarket filter. K&N the best. Check the web for reviews about this K&N drop in filter.

Also note where the power/torque increase will be.
Stock intake box provides good torque in the low end of the rpm range SRI is more low to mid range pick up and won't make as much gains in the higher end CAI doesn't have much gains (might actually lose torque) in the lower end and is more useful in the mid to higher end of the rpm band So it all comes down to where in the rpm band you really drive in. |

ah ok... so pwede ko siguro tanggalin yung airfilter stock then palitan ko lang ng air filter na ksama ng Air Intake Kit para di na ko magpapacustomize ng Pipe since straight usually ang kasma ng mga ktis.... what you think kabayan Syntax

@ Syntax.... nakakita na ko ng Air Filter sa Olayan Car & Accessories.... yung K&N nasa 270SR.... yung SIMOTA 95SR lang... pwede na siguro un... Tanggalin ko na lang yung Air Box tapos gamit ako T-pipe para sa MAF sensor......

pre make sure na meron din para sa vacuum return line ung tube na iccustomize mo, ung tube na nakakabit sa may air intake

plan ko is tanggalin ko lang yung Air box. yung hose from engine same pa rin. yung Air box papalitan ko lang ng air filter ng simota. problem ko ngayon is yung kakabitan ng MAF sensor since naka-built in sa air box yung lagayan ng MAF sensor.

nope... bale ang mahihigop na hangin nun ay ung katabi ng engine which is hot air, not advisable pre' best option dyan ay ung nakakabit sa throttle body. mag fabricate ka ng tube para dun at ilalagay mo sa harap ng battery at likod ng headlights
