The Yaris uses the c56 where as the Echo uses the c151, the c56 is also used in the Corolla so that mount is the same as for the rest it's not that hard......and why would someone put a K20A in a Yaris that is just blasphemy lol. A 2ZZ-GE in a Celica can spank 350z's at the track, so in a Yaris it would be a sight.

Turbo Kit for the Celica to up it to 300hp? What about the high compression, it is quite difficult to manage 300hp with, I think are 11.5 pistons on the 2ZZ-GE. I was thinking about taking advantage about the midium weight on this engine and also I think 160whp is somewhat enough to start with advantage on the Yaris being its weight, 2200lbs.

This is the site with the kit, in the Yaris it would be kind of over kill. Also don't forget to upgrade the suspension, some anti-lift plates and some polly mounts will help you stop the wheel hop and get the power to the ground. |

Hass Turbo is the same company that puts out THE turbo kit for the MR2 Spyder community (1ZZ engine). If they're gonna make a turbo for the 1NZ then i'm all for it!!!
yeah, i know a Honda motor in a Toyota is blasphemy, but the K20A is THE end-all of Honda know-how..and it works GREAT in an MR2 Spyder though, i haven't seen any of the articles around in awhile, there is always someone willing to do the crazy swaps..like an SR20DET into a miata .. can you say "drift"?

I think that 165whp N/A form is enough for a basic Yaris project. I am thinking of a budget between $4.500 to $6,000.
Since it would be a project a lot of things won't be neccesary, but still I might be able to use it for daily driven. I estimate that with the weight of the Yaris and the 2ZZ-GE, in N/A form, I would be in the 13.8 in the quarter mile.

the 2zz-ge NA with simple bolt ons and fuel management has been dyno'd to roughly 190whp. in a ~2000lb mr-s sypder, it has done 13.9 in the 1/4, with lots of traction issues launching.

So with good tires, You could see the low 13's. That's what one of my tuning programs told me.
