I have the TRD black chrome one. Nice, but I wish it were weighted.

I ordered the TRD leather ball shift knob and it was tiny and looked ridiculous so I took it back to dealer and ordered the other TRD leather shift knob that is seen on the main toyota websight and all over the net....It was nice looking but wouldn't tighten enough withough crushing the top rubber piece on my stock shift boot....so it was useless unless I swap my shift boot...AND IT SET ME BACK 76 DOLLARS FROM THE DEALER...(i HAVE LEARNED NEVER TO BUY DIRECTLY FROM THE DEALER FOR STUFF LIKE THAT ..BUT TO CHECK ONLINE FIRST ALWAYS) Now I have a black round shift knob that i ordered from www.monsterknobs.com.... I like the feel alot and it warms up fast in winter unlike aluminum. The only thing I don't like is that it leaves a big gap between shift knob and top of rubber boot so I filled it in with blue hockey tape to match my seat covers(cheap and easy not for everyone but it looks ok) definately my fav shift knob so far and was 39.99 with free shipping. It does give it a ball on a stick look like old style shifters... Although now that i found out subaru's have same threading I might try to get my hands on a leather subaru shift knob.
looks like the shift knob off a IS300 or camaro.

The reason for the gap is that it is a Subaru knob - they have the threads lower down inside the knob than Toyota do, so it leaves a gap. I filled mine with a turned piece of wood, but you could easily make the threads deeper and get rid of the gap.

Thanks it is definitely comfortable I always liked the round knobs. The KNOB is supposed to be the same material as pool balls are made of according to monsterknobs.com. They say that it is Crosslinked Aldehyde Resin (CAR™) which stays strong and doesn't get nearly as cold as metal. I would like to replace my boot but haven't investigated enough yet. Redlinegoods.com makes shift boots for the yaris but they are like 60 dollars so I would like a cheaper option but not quite sure how to fit a universal one. If anyone has good shift boot tips I'm all ears.....

I like the ARC Full Titanium. Love the look, color, and feel.

Drawbacks: $$$, maybe gets hot in summer or sun.

I like TWM weighted shift knobs, I'm pretty loyal to that brand.

Oh, believe me, I know exactly what you mean - I guess my mind is just in the gutter today (as it was yesterday, and last week, month, etc.)
