C'mon, this Yaris can be easily fixed.

I don't think it is wrecked!

I agree, but the queston is will insurance say it's totaled. No engine damage, no airbags deployed, and what looks like only body damage. I don't think they would claim it to be totaled. Although if it was mine I would hope they would.

Any time the repair costs are over a companies set limits they write it off.
I don't know why? usually it's cheaper to repair then replace but I guess they need to set out quide lines for everyone, no exceptions.
7000 in repairs for a car that only cost 13000 is way too high

Glad you made it out alright!!

What a damn shame, after all those mods you just did too.

Part some out, as insurance adjuster wont give you anything for them.

Man! it's like a nightmare come true I get sick looking at your car. Here in Hawaii we got so much idiots on the road, too many times I see impatient morons driving on the shoulder lanes, tailgating, weaving in and out of traffic. And so much road rage everyday my 19 mile commute to work and home, takes me any where from 45 Min (Good) to 2 hrs + (accident) on the weekend it just 25 to 30min for the same 19 miles....But glad your Yaris got you out alive cause it could have been worse...Takecare Bruddah!

I would bitch up a storm to have them total it... If you bitch enough they will, you insurance rates will go up a bit more because of it... but hell then you will not have to deal with previously wrecked car.... BTW I wrecked mine as well when it was 3 weeks old, back in August... I had to wait another 2.5 weeks for them to get a headlight, bumper, grille, and upper core support... fun fun that was in the POS Aveo they gave me as a rental, no balls, no balls at all
