Good observations Chino and RedYaris...I dont know whether to laugh, cry, or just jump out the window....
BTW gas is $3.20 or so for mid-grade here; I can't get plain regular anymore, almost always sold out at $3.10. |

Who said Yaris was slow?
|
$4.40 per gallon here....
That is way the Yariss are so popular and 90% of the SUV's are diesels. |

450 miles a week with prices now at about 3.02 a gallon. Not overly concerned. Make me feel better when I fill my Yaris up for 30.00 and all my neighbors are spending closer to 100.00 to fill up their trucks and SUV's.

About 300 miles/wk. Got 41.05 on first tank Gas is $2.43/gallon
I'd drive it pretty easy, don;t go above 70mph. Partly to conserve fuel, partly while I break it in. |

3.20 here in montana. Alot of folks for some reason drive huge trucks and suv's here. I have to admit it is fun to go up to a pump and see what the last guy had to pay to fill up. Most of the time its like 50 and 60 dollars.
And then I put in 3 dollars worth of gas. I do that just for fun to see the expressions on the attendants faces. |

I started taking the train the work. Instead of 20 miles I only drive 5 to the station. It was more to help avoid traffic and paying $20 a day to park then to save gas.

Geez, when I first starting driving I could fill up my pickup for a little less then $10.00 and that was the good shit! When I left the service and went to school High Test made it too $1.00 a gallon and I thought the end was near. Now I am just pissed in general. I wonder if we where not blocked from drilling off the West Coast and the North Shore back in the 70's if things would be different today?

Paid $3.06 a gallon today, filled up at 1/4 tank. Cost $28.74. Considering I only have to fill up every 12-14 days, I'm probably the only one NOT bitching about gas prices.
I work with a guy who drives a 2006 chevy colorado only to and from work and bitches about gas prices every day BUT he simply drives a truck for the look of it. He doesn't use the bed for anything cause he doesn't want to scratch it up and he never hauls anything. I've got more interior room in my Yaris than he does. He's getting like 17-18mpg, lol. Talk about practical... |

Read on one of the internet news sites yesterday that Ca and the midwest may get up to $4 in the US. CA because of the special formulas for emissions and the Midwest because of some pipeline problem????
