Geico .. $155 a month. Now I beleive it's because of a ticket that was finally convicted in recent times .. before that was $128 a month. I refresh soon at the end of January so I'm hoping that it will go back down.

Ours is a bit less than $1100 for 6 months, that's with an 08 Yaris, a 01 Audi S4 and a 98 Dodge Ram 3500, all with full coverage. It would be lower if it wasn't because the husband got a couple of tickets before we got married that still haven't cleared. I'm 27 and he's 28, so I think it's not too bad.

100,000 300,000 50,000
For 2008 Honda CR-V
2008 Yaris
2004 Dodge Diesel Ram

$1,300/year or $108/month for all 3
We have great credit and no recent (5 years) accidents or tickets.
We use ANPAC.

It pays to shop around. Depending on a persons circumstaces a new company might have cheaper rates.

Yeah .. in Suffolk. Full coverage too, but a $1000 deductable. Plus I've been driving for the past 10 years with so so in tickets. Probably be much lower if I didn't have any at all. Oh and this is coming to 2 full years with switching over to Geico.

Your in NY. Go and take the Defensive Driving class. They are usually given locally and it will give you the 10% discount on liability plus remove up to 4 points on your license.

I know, just haven't had the time to take care of that. I only have one more year for the driver's assesment payment lol. I've been quite tamed in the Yaris. ONly ticket I ever got with it was in Jersey where there's probably a warrent out. Unfortunately the points transfer over once convicted.

Geiser insurance. I've got 5 cars insured with State Farm. My Yaris has the insurance required by the bank and the share of my monthly bill for the Yaris is $61/month. By comparison the monthly bill for my '64 pickup with liability only is $19/month. This is clearly a topic where it sucks to be a whipper-snapper.

Defensive Driving Course in NY State is a six hour class and upon completion and sending certificate to Ins. Co. the insured gets 10% reduction off of the 'liability' coverage. It does not apply to collision. Also, if a driver has points on their license, by taking the course, you can have up to 4 points removed. Most classes are giving around the state for under $50.

Not a real fair assessment of rates unless you find someone similar to your age and status in your area.
The credit rating assessment isn't in all states. It's illegal in Mass for a company to base your rate on your credit or disqualify you because of bad credit. I can't believe it's legal in most other states since you have to have insurance!

Wow, you're taking a chance with just liability....No coverage for yourself? No comprehensive? Remember, anything happens, and your potentially eating the whole value of your car or at least fixing any damage out of pocket.
