I appreciate it, one of the things I am most disappointed with on my new Yaris hatchback is the lack of carrying space. The solid rear seat does not fold down flat, and coming from a VW Passat wagon I am used to having the ability to haul a lot of stuff!
Heck, my 1976 Pinto hatchback I had in the late 70s/early 80s hauled things better than my 2008 Yaris hatchback! I think Toyota made some aspects of this car a little too cheaply! Cheers! M2 |

Any updates?
I have found the solid rear seat folds down better if you raise the middle headrest a bit (I saw a Yaris hatchback delivery car at my local NAPA parts store that was like that); but I would still love to get the split-folding rear seat. Cheers! M2 |
