Add a TRD rear sway bar. It should be there from the factory just for the added safety and driver confidence.

it connects under the car to each side of the frame.. holds it all together to stop the swaying a bit..

Can't explain why, just know it works.
I installed mine weeks before lowering the car and can definitely say the sway-bar makes the biggest difference.

all you people who have those sway bars should driver through Hwy 84 parallel to the Columbia river on the Washington/Oregon boarder... Oh man... when you start driving through that Columbia river gorge... it can get hella windy...

Surprisingly, right now weather sites are reporting that the gorge is calm... I've driven through it about 20 times in my life, most in the past 9 months and it's never been calm.

Its not unheard of for there to be gusts of 50mph there. The Columbia river gorge is the World Capitol of Wind Sailing after all.

When you driver through the gorge... its wierd, cause it'll be calm... and then BAM! huge gust... and then its gone. Its like guerrilla attacks on your car. its not like a constant wind. It literally will make even large vehicles' rear ends swirve about.

The first time I drove my yaris round trip throught the gorge... I got worse milage going slower going downhill, than I did going 10mph faster going uphill by about 4 mpg... All because of the wind. 60 vs 70mph.

The portland area members most def know what i'm talking about.

I dropped mine and it made a significant difference. Especially on I-10 with all those 18-wheelers racing through Houston.

Wow, my girlfriend and I felt like the Sportivo set was GREAT. No more issues with wind. Anyone from Cali familiar with 680? Crazy wind there. The shocks/springs resolved all tippy feelings. Of course you can still feel the wind, but the yaris feels just as stable as my mr2 after having the Sportivo stuff installed. We didn't even do the sway bar.
