i think the bumpers should be swapable...
but due to longer usdm bumpers,
i assumed the bumper beams inside would be bigger too...
you might need to get non-usdm bumper beams along with the bumpers...
something like this...?

that bar is for chassis reinforcement. not for crash protection. JDM bumper does not have the rebar like USDM cars. the only reason why our bumper is longer is to accomodate the rebar on the USDM models.

So this rebar you speak of, is it some kind of attachment on our bumper beam? If so how can we get take it off?

Also, does anyone actually have a photo of USDM bumper beam and the JDM bumper beam??

Its a different beam. We have 5 MPH bumpers. Other countries don't.

JDM RS have different front rebar size than USDM Yaris. And JDM RS have no rear bumper rebar, but USDM Yaris have one.

So in order to fit the JDM RS front bumper, you will need JDM RS rebar (unless you choose to run without a rebar). To fit RS Rear Bumper, you will have to remove the USDM rear rebar.

just to add since my name came up:

I bought a lip kit from thailand and everything fit except the rear bumper. As its been stated our bumper projects out further than the JDM counterpart, maybe an inch or so. The rear lip for the JDM yaris (if looking from above) has a shallower curvature to it and doesnt fit our Yaris' more robust derriere.

The front lip fit tight but fine, same goes for the sideskirts.

If your looking for a direct swap kit just wait for kits like Kaminari's to become more readily available or be prepared to pull parts off your USDM Yaris.

Your insurance company will have their 'way' with you if you remove the crash saftey equipment and bang up your Yaris.

This is the US front, per Kron1k's post (and I'm not disputing that part):

The interesting thing is that when I called Bulletproof Automotive, who sells that kit (the AeroOver kit) using that picture, they said that kit doesn't fit the US car. I guess that's a custom fitting job you're looking at there.

The car in the pic definitely not a US car, as it is right hand drive. Japan has the same front as the US in design in some trim levels, but dimensions might still be different.
