And hey, I see you have over 120 miles on the FIRST (gas) bar? Not fair; I'm almost ready for a fill-up, and I've only got twice that... whine... Serious about the caps.

The climate knobs came off the corolla/RAV4-toyota's just grabbing out of their parts bin. The last knobs were original to the yaris and nothing else. The orange back lighting-another thing barrowed from the corolla. I like the new seat fabric more, but that's about it.

So HTM, you got a second Yaris for yourself? Or are you sharing with a wife or something? Just curious why you would get two 3-door LB's?

One of the coolest changes is that the 09 muffler comes already painted black

The 09 interior has different shift boot (looks like leather) and really cool shift knob .
The seats in the 09 are covered in a charcoal "houndstooth" material .
The 09 bench backseat is 4way adjustable (degrees of tilt)
The coolest change of all (imo) is the gauge cluster lights color has been changed to orange . Much better on the eyes . Gives it a high dollar feel

I'll get pics as soon as the weather clears

my 08 came painted black... guess im just cool like that

The interior is also way different between the regular and the sport model. Different trim material, all black, seats are better with side bolsters on the top and bottom, leather covered steering wheel and shift knob, gauge cluster with tachometer.

Also the rear seat reclines in the '09. Already got to test it out right after we got our 2nd yaris. Also missing is the sun visor extenders that are on my '07.
