you can put a ground kit on any battery. all you're doing is upgrading from a 10g battery cable to anything bigger....or even more grounds. now, i wouldnt go drilling holes every square inch in the firewall with grounds, but to be honest, the OEM grounding situation is not enough. you got one cable from bat to the strut tower, one from bat to engine, and a ground strap from teh block to the firewall.
i'd have at least gone with 8g from the factory, but then again, i got free 4g or whatever size it was (it was metric cuz it's from germany), and it was cheap enough for the ends...so i win both ways. |
