The Belta isn't sold through Netz dealers, so there is no JDM equivalent with the badging. BTW the rear of the Vitz has the Toy logo.

c'mon you jdm heads!

edit: seems like a lot of the other cars seem to have that same netz emblem- i'm guessing it's like a sub-line within toyota? like the "fun and fashionable side"? the ist also has it btw.
for those like to browse toyota.jp,
it's easier to browse using bodytype...

Toyota Releases Outline of New Netz Channel

Tokyo, Japan, Mar. 29, 2004 - (JCN Newswire) - Toyota Motor Corporation
released an outline today of the new Netz sales
channel, which is set to start operations in May.

TMC is implementing a new product and distribution strategy that
outlines the reorganization of Toyota-brand sales channels to adequately
respond to future changes in consumer values and in the structure of
Japan's highly competitive automobile market.

The new product and distribution strategy calls for the introduction of
the Lexus brand to Japan and the reorganization of TMC's Japanese-market
Toyota-brand sales channels into four channels from the current five.
The merging of the existing Netz and Vista sales channels to form a new
Netz channel is intended as a pillar of this new strategy that can
strike a chord with “new valueEcustomers, while keeping in mind the
needs of current customers.

The new Netz channel will aim to meet the challenge of a new channel
structure under the theme of "Channels for the 21st Century," and will
offer "fun" and "fashionable" products in step with the times, targeting
customers who place emphasis on advanced technology and the finer
details.

Specifically, for the new Netz:

1) The core models offered by the new channel will initially be those
handled by the current Netz and Vista channels, but will develop into a
line-up expressing the channel's individuality. A unique vehicle logo
for new Netz models will be used.

2) Netz outlets will extend beyond their current frameworks, in terms of
both physical appearance and sales policies, emphasizing the consulting
functions of its staff, and dissemination of information through its
website and 3-D catalogs, among other measures, to create new Netz
outlets that are recognizable at a glance.

Based on its "customer always comes first" policy, TMC intends to
utilize the new product and distribution strategy, which forms one of
the pillars of the new Netz channel, to steadily maintain a market share
of more than 40% and (excluding minivehicles) to secure an even greater
Japanese market share in the medium to long term.

presence and individuality, comprised mainly of vehicles handled by the current Netz and Vista channels

Sales policies:
--Will achieve an improved informative style embodying a sophisticated feel and a new sense of fun

Netz is a "Sales channel" sort of like the Lexus and Scion divisions in the states, just that it is a separate set of dealer channels that operate under Toyota, unlike Lexus and Scion which act as their own companies for all intensive purposes.

i think the "belta" rear emblem would suit your car better.

When you guys say this emblem won't fit the sedans, do you mean by size of it or just how it is attacted?? Cause if its just how its attacted then I might get one and get a super adhesive glue or something, then again it could look ghetto...just a thought.

Not really sure if it's the right size or if the "rivets" just won't fit, but it shouldn't really be on a Sedan anyway, the Belta isn't sold through Netz

^^^Thanks for the info...I really like that emblem and I'd do it for shits and giggles and how many people in the U.S. are going to know if the sedan isn't sold under the Netz dealers? I have an ECHO not a Yaris sedan *gasp!* Thanks for the head up

The Belta is sold through Corolla and Toyopet sales channels in Japan, I beleive. One odd thing to note is that the Yaris Sedan's standard 1.5L 1NZ-FE isn't even offered on the Belta! The only 3 engines offered on the Belta are the 1KR-FE (1.0L), the 2SZ-FE (1.3L), and the 2NZ-FE (1.3L). I guess that means this is one instance in which the Sedan owners aren't getting shafted!

if you have the sedan dun get the front emblem!! it's the emblem that's too big! so if you glue it... its gonna stick out! it's too big by 1/4 around.

hehe and the sedan looks best de-badged!! No yaris, no belta, no vios, no nothing!
