you could always bypass the seats and interior completely, make a custom bracket that mounts behind one of the front grills and put a small piece of plexi in front of the lens to protect it...that would be awesome imo and yield some potentially heart racing footage. ha, idk how many people know about the old movie, but everyone must see the "movie" called Rendezvous :)

If you have a harness bar then Summit might still be making their mount. There are two people at my regions scca events that have them. I will try to get a picture when our first event rolls around.

Cool, didnt think of it myself to use retracting rods like that to make it easy setup and removal.

Oh I did, lol...good stuff.
Still planning on making another mount myself here in a week or so. Gonna try and go a bit more on the perminant route for one.
