Garm's is not a sticker on steroids. Someone actually laid CF on the origional trim pieces.

Garm, thanks for posting this! If I ever get tired of the painted center vents, I might just go ahead and cannibalize my mesh paper trays and do this.
Did you have to drill or staple to attach the mesh at all? I ask because I'd like to know if I wanted to swap the vents back in if it would be possible. :) |

Brad,
I cut the mesh so it was snug anyway, but a bit of Gorilla Glue in the corners made it totally permanent.

Somewhat off topic, but what bracket did you use for mounting your cell phone?

The velcro works great for me. I just throw the phone on there when I get in the car. And the phone has a nice soft backing now, LOL

Very impressive. You didn't show the passenger glove box. So.... all total is that like 10 HP?

Hey Max if you want to head up to the DFW area I will help you put your springs on. I put the DF210's on my hatch as well.

I do appreciate the offer, but Dallas is a 300 mile/4.5 hr drive one way from San Antonio and that would make for a very long day! I've done suspension work on my Jeep so I don't think Sprocket will be much of a problem. I just hate taking off all the stuff around the wipers, especially that huge metal shield that I am scared I will drop and scratch the hell out of something. Otherwise, it probably isn't any harder than install my fogs! Still, I am grateful for the kind gesture, and hopefully one of these days soon we can have a meet-'n-greet somewhere central so most of us can attend! Cheers! M2 |
