sorry, but a stock yaris with proper maintenance and care will take longer than 0.5 seconds to leave the road. Even in the ever-feared wind.

I think if you're having problems finding your cigs or candy or whatever, you need to learn to drive with your knee

That is nothing to do with the electric steering. (which cuts out after 15 mph). That is all to do with torque-steer if it only happens when accelerating (in another post?)
I don't believe your 0.5 second interval, either, unless you are beating on the car and close to the ditch to start with.
In either case, KEEP YOUR HANDS ON THE WHEEL WHEN ACCELERATING!!

Now, Loren, you know as well as any of us that keeping a knee on the wheel is only good between gear shifts. Then you have to drop the left knee....

i always had this since i notices it a couple of month after i bought it..just didnt bother me now..i guess its normal.
