Its all a matter of personal preference. Design, material, comfort...etc.
Even with a lower grade seat (Corbeau) I am completely satisfied!

I developed one thanks to this thread: http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20730 It plugs into the Occupant Classification ECU, in place of the harness to the four occupant classification sensors. It emulates the four sensors to keep the ECU happy and allows you to have the passenger airbag active or not by a switch . |

thats completely up to personal preference.
neither brand is far better than the other when it comes to function but when it comes to looks, bride is farrrrrr better, especially with reclinables. just look at the vorga or low maxx if you dont believe me recaro srds are awesome though |

+1 but if I have the extra $$, I would try the recaro speedster, since the looks it pretty much " out of the ordinary " http://recaro.com/index.php?id=5102®ion=3&L=2 |

im wondering if I should add another inch to raise the seats ... should I make some square metal braket in between the floor and the bottom of the WE braket or add it on between the lower seats and on top of the WE bracket ??

wedge engineering has optional height adjusters for their brackets. i had them install on my bride seats and they offer 3 positions of adjustment. give em a call, they might be able to send it out to you based on the configuration of your brackets
and those recaro speedsters are sweet. |

How much did it cost to have the Recarro seats
Hey, I just purchased my Yaris 2007 and would like to change the seat to a better one as the one I've got is so uncomfortable.
Can you let me know how much it cost to change the seat and also will this affect the warranty of the actual car? Attached is my current yarris which I've added new mag wheels. |

I have those height extension from wedge, but I still need a little higher ...it's mostly ok on a flat road ,but on a turn on a hill it pretty hard to see especially at night... |

the cost to change the seat is cheap ...you can do it your self , but you need the new seat itself, custom bracket and a slider to begin with. I spent almost $1000 for the whole set, but you may find it cheaper on ebay, forum or even craiglist. you can check for recaro, bride, Omp, sparco and corbeau for the seats or you can grab that red NRG seat on one of the member here (tinyGiant). hope that helps . |
