you can't SUE him in canada.

insurance will cover him for the damages and the SUV driver will be fined or sent to jail. that's it, no more.

i dont think you could sue here either. People hear stories without all the facts. take for example the old infamous macdonalds hot coffee spill here in america. people here "she dropped hot coffee on herself and she sued and got millions of dollars" and run with it. In fact though that particular macdonalds had already recieved over 20 warnings from some federal agency telling them that their coffee was 4 times hotter than the legal limit, when it spilt on here she recieved major third degree burns on some 20% of her body, she had to have skin grafts done and was in the hospital for like a month. Also, the millions was knocked down to something like 300,000 after appeal. Consequently American's think they can just "sue" but i really doubt he could get any extra money out of this one. what for, emotional damages? .....but anybody know the laws lets hear it, that would be awesome. but i hope they send his ass to jail! f-ing tires taller than half your car...damn

Would you like some cheese w/ your wine?

Seriously all you sound like is just another hater. And i got a definition too

Quote:
Someone who is enraged by evidence of another's success and as a result has to try to one up the successful person or simply put the successful person down. Hating is much more than just being jealous of the person who has done well. The hater would find much satisfaction in seeing some form of misfortune come to that person.

Haters may also simply find satisfaction in someone else’s misfortune. When a friend falls off a bicycle and lands in the sewer for instance, it is a normal reaction to laugh at the situation. However, a hater will respond slightly differently by laughing at the person in a ridiculing manner.

Haters have a special link to one another and they tend to fuel each others hate by hating in groups (ahem anti-SUV movement *cough*) . It may be a form of stress relief or something entirely different but they do seem to become happy from the escalation (great word right there )of hate for a person that arises in these groups.

Also if he had blue on his tire then the tire's are probaly brand new. You should check the local tire dealers and see if any escalades came through there.

my car is wrecked too cuz i got hit from behind when i was doing a left turn and the rear wheel and fender looked like it got PUSHED inwards and i dont know how big the damage is and i find it interesting too see the other car which is a van like one of those new GM uplander type, the air bags of both passenger and driver came on. i want to know if theres like a certain speed level that a car is travelling and then hit something then it would come on what i mean is that would the air bag come on if the other driver is driving at city limit 50km/h? or the air bag would on if you hit something from the front of your car? argh getting into a car accident sucks!
