The C64 is used in the Lotus and I think the Corolla XRS. But all other gears are the same. I remember driving a '03 Yaris RS (Puerto rico spec.) that has the C152 in it. Same gears as the C52 from the '00~ Celica GT. With a 1.904 2nd gear and the 4.058 final you could do a burnout starting in 2nd. The C160 on the other hand has an even low 2nd gear and lower final. So I can only imagine how a hard launch would do from 2nd. Edit: Oops, went on a little rant there. Yes the C60/160 does have a higher 6th to the Yaris 5th, but the final is so much lower on the C60/160 that the end result is still more revs at the same speed. |

When launching with high throttle the 1st gear complete in almost 4sec and 2nd gear in almost 2sec. Infact during drag races I usually launch with 2nd gear since it's pretty low aswell. The main reason I installed the C160 since the trans is capable of more bhp compared to the C54 (stock one) and because it has the Limted Slip Differential. Why would you need a 6spd trans? |
