I thought there really isn't a break in period anymore for 'new' car engines? You don't have to follow driving a certain way for a specific period of time... like in the 70's and into the 80's? What am I doing wrong my average is only 32 mpg and I'm about 50/50 city/hw. I don't have a lead foot, buy maybe a steel toe. I'm new to the a/t thing and the Yaris likes to jump when I feather the throttle.
