This all season tire has some good reviews especially for light snow and wet conditions:

Both my cars have 2 sets of tires
On my Yaris I run the Bridgestones that came with it in the summer and Continental Extreme Winter Contact in the winter. On my wife's Elantra I run Goodyear Assurance Triple Tread in the summer and Bridgestone Blizzak REVOs in the winter. The Elantra is much better in snow but I think it's because of the extra weight. I also have trouble with the Yaris' is traction control on hills. The throttle back can slow you down so much that you can't make the hill and occasionally I have to turn off.
