This is amazing. I bought spray paint from walmart too, but didn't achieve nearly similar results (I tried without sanding, but got bubbles/drops/blemishes, then I sanded and painted again, but when trying a second layer the paint again clogged up into bubbles instead of an even coat. More sanding and trying again...and eventually I got it black, but with a rough and uneven coating). It was a glossy black spray, and it said usable for "everything".

Did you pick one that was specific for plastic?

nope, just regular walmart spray paint, but you need to do extremely light coats, i was driving with out the center parts and floor center console for like 3 days, i did about 5 or 6 super thin coats.

i did get some bubbles in some places but i just sanded them and redid them

1. sit in your car and think about how you want to paint it, remember its your car be creative
2. start pulling off the panels that you want to paint, be careful not to break any clips
3.give the panels a good wash, and let them air dry, you dont want lint all over your prepd panels
4. start out with a couple of light coats of primer, just make sure it can be used on plastic
5. let it dry
6. now on to your color of choice, once again several light coats
7. let it dry
8. if you choose to use clear coat for a shiny finish do so, i didnt, i wanted the matte look
9. let the clear coat dry
10.start putting your panels back in, and enjoy

also if you want a shiny finish without clearcoat, you can also use gloss paints, i used flat paints

Search a bit on the forum and you'll find some with picture on how to here's one -----» http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...interior+paint

Really detailed but I didn't use any primer and it looks good too just saving you time, money and risk of making mistake! but be sure to check your piece before putting another coats you don't want any dust or hair to stick between them !! if you need help you can send me a msg !!
