Hi, can anyone pls confirm whether this blitz charger operates on an electromagnetic clutch or an internal bypass? If i choose not to use the controller that comes with it, in what manner should it be controlled?

I appreciate if anyone can give input on this. Thank you.

on one hand the little Toyota motor is relatively cheap and even if you grenade the whole thing it's not super expensive to replace....and I definitely find superchargers appealing, still I think I will stay N/A since I purchased this car for reliability over my BMW, hah.
