i really need to do this. I lost coins in there the 2nd day I had the car. now its 5 years later and they're still there! I have the arm rest, so i can't get to that oh-so-handy screw location. Guessing i'll have to remove that first... any pointers?

You need one of these. I use it to hold my garage door opener and change. It fits perfect in the center console all the way to the rear. Will post pic when I get the chance. I happen to notice this on the new TC's at the dealer. Got the part number from parts after some effort and then did a Google to find the cheapest source which I indicated in ( ).

If it will fit nice in the center console/armrest. Idk where I'd put the scion one, I'd bump it in the armrest, hate leaving dash cup-holders open, door sounds like a bad idea.

The second one has measurements of 1 1/2 wide by 3 1/2 long and 1 3/8 tall.
