Do you have pics of the 16x8 rims on your ride?

16"x10" rears on 225s with a ET+/-0 offset... what has the Volkswagen community been flocking to lately as far as wheels? Miros, Works, etc.

Sad news :-( The company that was doing the wheels told me it would be MONTHS until they could even get us in and not even give an estimated time. Their drill/fill guy was super backed up (500 sets of wheels ahead of mine) Had to cancel the order for the BBS.
Still going wider. 16x8+20 front, 16x9+15 rear. Still a big lip, still a fun color combo :-) Should be here next Thursday.

Have you tried searching Vwvortex classifieds or contacting rotiform? RS's pop up all the time on vortex in all kinds of sizes and widths, either refinished or not. Sometimes they cam be had for a decent price too. Find a set and refinish them yourself, it's not too hard. Get them blasted and painted/powder coated. Puttin them together takes like 25 min a wheel and sealant has to sit over night to cure. Also Blackforestindustries.com sells replacement and wider lips for RS and RM's.

Rotiform buys sells and refinishes vintage and old wheels, they might have some RS's laying around too.

I just refinished my girlfriends(dinoeggxo) RM's and it wasn't that bad at all.... Aside from stabbing myself haha

Boom: I think you said you wanted 16's but it you coul get this guy to ship them this is a awesome price. 1100 for 15x7 RS's 4x100. Refinishing them you could probably be all in on these for ~2k and sell them or 2500+ depending on color and size when you're done with them.

Looks like they need lips which is perfect for you. BFI sells replacement lips or 130-150 each depending on width, or real BBS replacements for 220+. We had dinoegg's RM barrels glass beaded and powder coated for ~350 for everything.

These won't last long at that price

Wheels are already ordered. Wanted to stay under 2k all in for wheels and it just wasnt possible in our time frame.

The new wheels will be here on Thursday. ESM 002R, 16x8+20 and 16x9+15. So still an aggressive setup but not as aggressive as we had originally wanted.

Pretty close to bbs, I'm into it.

What kind of suspension you going to be running? Tire sizes?

Dinoegg's RM's are 15x7.5 et~20 15x8.5 et~9
