Any JDM Vitz rear bumper regardless of year will fit the RS tails. If you want to skip the hassle of getting a JDM rear bumper, the 07-08 USDM rear bumper will fit also.

Ok good to know..I can see from elady's ebay store the vitz rs changed it's rear bumper to a different design in 08

um yeah.
If you're going JDM, it MUST be a Vitz RS model. With regular Vitz bumpers, you'll still have that light protrusion where the bumper meets the lights.

Good to see people finally ditching replica garbage bumpers and hopping on board for JDM bumpers.

In Japan the 09 Yaris is referred to as the 08 Vitz in Japan.

It will almost be a year for me rocking the JDM RS 08 bumper.

there are a few japanese based marketplaces that will purchase the item for a very small fee and then you pay intl shipping

Tenso.com is one I have used and the fee was very cheap. It's shipping that kills you.
