Not that long i just cut out a round piece of carbon fiber vinyl that was the right side of the emblem then i clear coated it to give it more of a realistic look and to protect it and then stuck it on the trunk and then put the emblem on top of it.

Not sure if LED's would shine through your awesome black cf. Here they are on my silver. Your badges are ultra sharp!
