DIY - Exterior lights on when doors are remotely unlocked

The 86 is very different. The Body ECU has control over the lights.

You could try grounding the white wire in pin 20 of the headlight switch. If that works for making the headlights come on with the car off, then you would connect one contact terminal (30) of the relay to that wire and the other (87) to ground.

You would then connect pin 17 of body ECU connector D5 to the relay coil terminal 85 and terminal 86 of the relay coil to the dome light positive wire (it doesn't look like there is a simple connector for grabbing that wire, so you would have to find one of the orange or light green wires on page 184/185.)

Hi, sorry to bring up an old thread.

I want to do this in my 2014 Yaris (facelift) Europian. Is the wiring the same as in the 2012-2013 version?
And if so, where is D106 located? That image seems to be unavailable.

So I found the D106, it's the connector of the headlight switch behind the panels at the steering wheel.

It works perfectly, however by default the car makes a beep sound when the lights are on, the car is off and the doors are open. With this mod, the car now always does this when I open a door. I would prefer this not to happen when the switch is in the "off" position.
Did anyone else run into this issue as well? And can this somehow be resolved?
My car does not have automatic headlights btw.
