Springs haven't fallen out yet.
I only worry when the rear goes over bumps like speed bumps and such otherwise the spring is unlikely to fall out. I run 6" springs with little to no issues.

My springs are short in the back. If I go up a steep driveway my spring will fall out on either side. So I just don't go up steep driveways anymore.

Any unsecured rear spring could fall out under the right conditions. I saw it happen at the Solo Nationals to a 4th gen F-Body in ESP trim - he came in to a hard right hand corner and as the right rear got light the spring came out, dropping the fender on his tire
ending his run - they were able to pop it back in and run again. Some zip ties or hose clamps at the top of the spring should keep it from falling over.

I guess I have to take back what I said about the rear springs NEVER falling out, though with the zip ties it's practically impossible.

Use Ty-Wraps not zip ties. Zip ties are rated for almost no weight whereas Ty-Wraps can handle 10-50 lbs.
