Yaris Brothers Unite - I'll gladly give up the car length to drive something that doesn't look like a Ford Aerostar dropped in a clothes dryer for too long - lol.

The Fit is in all actuality a tad bit faster. The difference in 60 times is due to the Yaris being able to hold 2nd gear while the Fit has to shift to 3rd.

In all seriousness, it's comparable to those weiner dog races (stock at least). It's amusing to watch, and no one reallly cares who wins...

I love my car, but it IS WHAT IT IS. If I wanted a runner I'd have bought an S2000 or something =)

So i slowe down, trying to race. I never got a change to race with a fit before (so here is my time)
We both rev our engine, we both took off, my yaris hit 80 in less than 5 seconds, the fit is totally 100 feets fall back of my car. I guess i won. So
I'm trying to slow down to say bye and be nice, but all i got was a middle finger for me.
Fuck Koreans.
Seriously, your comparing yourslf in your Yaris to a Fit with 4 adults. Think maybe the extra weight made the difference? I can tell the difference between myself and one passenger, let alone three.

Try the same drag race with a 5 speed Yaris. The result will be much different (that is if the driver knows how to drive a manual). The 5 speed Yaris is considerably quicker than the auto.

Don't be knockin' the Korean cars! Hyundai's been putting some really nice-looking stuff out lately. The Japanese have had their fair share of bad car designs as well. Pretty much everything from the 80's was fugly (minus the CRX and the Celica). Let's not forget these not-so-distant offerings from Toyota!

CASTREX, the chick in pink is freakin' HOT!

I think just about Everything Japanese or not from the 80's was ugly, clothes, cars, you name it... what the hell were they thinkin?

cosmetics aside, I have never been a fan of the unreliable Korean car, but they are not at the top of my list of cars I would never buy... then again a unreliable car means job security for mechanics
