It is the same on a 2017 same part number for the bulb

on the iA it appears to be led there is no separate bulbs

That has to be Japanese logic. Most would think it would be anticlockwise to release.

got the t4 bulbs,

Do I have to remove the radio to pop the panel off

T4 bulbs work

From superbrightleds had to make the pins stand up a bit more
