Well, dropped off the little toy at Toyota at 8am this morning (think I drove there half asleep) to get the tint and small things done. I inquired about a few things there, but seems Toyota doesn't help much with mods...except of course if I want that super duper huge difference maker mud guard for the rear tires....oh wow! Pretty much everything else I ordered from them is their whole parts department selection for this year and model Yaris. I inquired about a new instrument cluster panel with a tach option and they said they only had that as a part/option for the sedan and I can order it for 2300 USD and hope it works, or try to find a small aftermarket tach to mounth somewhere else. I browsed quite a bit of this little community and found a nice idea you all had with pictures of mounting the guages in the driver compartment, but with the angles and drilling and all, I am afraid I might get carried away. Only way I would mess with drilling and doing that would be to order a backup lid just in case it turned out to be a not-so-martha-stewart-do-it-yourself-perfection as seen in all your pictures here. Plus, I researched a couple of guage and tach options and the one I like is $289 + shipping for the small tach only...but its black and blue and has a nifty small shft light with memory...Not a bad option, but I have never done wiring to a car so not sure how the hell I am going to manage to get it done myself.....unless of course there is a "Toyota Yaris tachometers for dummies" book out there that I can get >.<

Well, enough for now..Toyota just called and said the tint was done but the other installations would take another 2 hours. I'll post before and after pics of the nifty tint job and the little accessories.

Konig Helium seems to be a popular choice for rims. I like the fact that they only weight 10lb.

My last car had Konig Tuners and I put 300,000km of extreme driving on that car and ended up selling it with the rim. Now, I wish I'd have kept it for my Yaris. Apparently, the new owner was able to take off all the caked on break dust by very light sand paper and water....

btw, nice tint job... makes me want to go and get mine done.

Very nice photo. The gold wheels goes perfectly with the rocky background. Just to confirm, but I believe they're Konig Helium

For 15 inches they look great. I was considering going with 17inch for the looks factor, but after seeing that photo, I'm staying with 15 inch on 205/50/15.

you can keep your stubby you dirty bish! Nah tho that short antennae is hella cute, but the ebay ones listed are ugly silver ones, or weird looking to me...any direct links to nice cute one like that? As for the rims, gold is for my grandmothers beat up old pontiac tbh...oh and the "yo girl" isn't gonna rack your brownie points up either. ^_^

Smile, don't take a joke too personal!

Seriously tho, I love the backgrounds on those pics...very "cute/pretty" (anything else you want this chick to add?)

Aight , YO SUPER HOT CHICK http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/I-Bla...QQcmdZViewItem for that stubby . As far as the gold wheels , IT WILL be sexy , I don't care what your grandma thinks . Besides after a couple of New Castles she will agree with me

Brownie pts only have an effective range of 100 miles , unless you are Jenna Jameson , then its 200 miles

I hope you are laughing at my reply as much as I was laughing at your reply .

Can a sister get some Arizona scenery pics (with or without Grandma) and post them .

If ya get bored , check out the pics and vids

Yes, I had quite a laugh at that reply. Way to not fail so badly this time!

You want some scenery? I got a cactus or two just for you! Nah really tho, AZ scenery is gorgeous, but too busy Monday-Friday 12 hour shifts...AND driving 1 hour each way to work...14 hours..NO BUENO. But next weekend I don't have much planned so I might be able to take the little one out for some pictures.

Definatly enjoy the look of the spoilers on the HB, but don't want to get too RICE of a look. Some of these spoilers are definatly RICE that I've looked at. Like the look of yours tho in that picture, it's nice looking. Haven't seen that one before. Now was that a hard to find item, or are you able to give me a few links to that? Get paid in two weeks and would love to place a few orders then.

Thanks for the laugh and the input and pictures!

No, I haven't named her yet btw...trying to get to know her a bit better before I figure that one out!

BTW Toyota is sure going to love me next weekend for taking her back in to them.....tint looks nice from the outside but the bottom of the two front windows show it lifting up a bit...I am not a happy girl atm with them!

My co-worker owned a 2002 Toyota Camry and went down to Avondale Toyota on 05/17/07 and loved the Yaris...she got a Polar White 2007 LB AT. Her and I went to lunch the next day and she drove me. OMG how adorable! I loved it right away but I didnt like the AT option she had and the power option she chose not to take.

When I went down to Bell Toyota on the 25th I was looking at Scions and saw the exact same car as hers sitting on the lot except it was a sedan. They had 8 liftbacks on the lot only and the color options disgusted me. I explained what I wanted: LB, Power Package, ABS, Dark Interior...etc. They only had one in stock with what I listed....so I bought the thing right away. Never been happier.

Actually have been picked on alot by other people for owning a "jellybean"...they only pick on me until I tell them the MPG I get and how much my payments are a month....then they seem to get quite silent!

Love this little addition to my driveway ... only problem is now I have to find a silly person to buy my old Neon still parked in my driveway. Hoping some kid likes the Altezza Taillights and the neon kit as well as the custom interior paint and goes for it. ^_^

How you liking driving your Yais in this beautiful 120 degree hell-on-earth?

You can get that spoiler at the dealership . Its stock . In whatever color the Yaris comes in . I got a funny look at the dealership when I ordered a black spoiler for a white car . I would suggest blue or black for your car . I would go with blue on second thought . But if you decide to go with the sexy gold wheels , get the black spoiler .

One more thing , I know they are "dorky" but the mudguards will keep you from slingin stuff up on other people . You know , like for instance , if your friend with the Gorgeous Polar White Yaris is driving behind you . You wouldn't want to hurt another Yaris would you . Bikers REALLY appreciate mud guards . Maybe if you decide to get mudguards , you could paint them the same color blue , so they would be less noticeable .

Yeah , I would love to see some "Cacti" . Us Carolina country boys don't get to see many of those

Here is a pic of something you "Zonites" don't get o see many of .

Well, my co-worker isn't a very loving Yaris owner so far.....

let's just say the outside of her car is so dirty....she decided to park in open parking lot instead of employee covered parking just because today was 56% chance of rain and she wanted a free car wash.

I'm feeling so bad for the poor thing, almost willing to clean it myself.

I would like an idiots guide to installing a tach then....

maybe someone can link to to one on the DIY forums?

Also, what diameter is the one in your picture there....doesn't look as horribly bulky as I thought it would.

Thanks much.
