2 hours per strut.. I did all of the suspension in my honda in 2 hours, and that was trying to remember how to do it. Those techs can probably do that stuff with their eyes closed in under an hour for all of it.

ok guys the techs at the dealership do not make the quotes on repairs. theres a formula used when dealing with customer pay work, usually multiply warranty time, times 1.5 and thats what your customer pay is.

so if a repair pays 1hour under warranty, you would charge the customer 1.5 hours. thats just the way it is.

i get paid 4 hours to do front and rear brakes on a MINI(pads/rotors) and it takes me less then 1 if i move quickly. thats 4 hours at $95 per hour, just on labor.

sometimes i feel bad about it but then i go to the doctor and get charged $120 for less then 10 minutes and i don't feel that bad after all....

Ya it took me less then 2hrs to do all the lowering on my Yaris. Wow 2 hrs per strut. We know it is a business but come on now. This dealership also has a bad reputation for layin to to some people I work with also, and if they get too pricey then I will go somewhere else. They charge $40 for an oil change too.
