The salesman told me its all about the economy and if its doin bad the MSRP and invoice would be lower, but if the economy was doin good then there would be like $1,000 or less between invoice and whats on the sticker.

The $1,000 rebate is a Canadian Government program, but typically, the bureaucracy is waaay behind the ball on this one. "Check every week or so to see if we have the application forms ready yet", was the advice we got over the phone. Needless to say, we haven't spent the money yet!

ah darn it. that's ok... I know IL has some $1,000 rebate program too but that's only for hybrid cars. ah well
