I know Ric N Sov has them check his garage, or check out the GTA meet pictures from Jun. I think there are some pics there!

Cutting coils effects the spring rate....makes it harsher/stiffer for the same amount of travel. Think of your spring as a torsion bar....if you straightened it out and tried to twist it, (usng the same diameter rod) the longer the rod the easier it is to twist, shortening increases the force required to twist to the same degree of movement.

and i was surprise when the owner suggested to get the Tein instead.

Most people i asked in here said Tein,
Autobacs said Tanabe,
my buddies at VW Vortex said Eibach or H&R,

i pick Tein..!!

Tein is the way to go for sure. Eibach and H&R will always be what a VW owner tells you to get.. but they are far from the best. (not bad mind you) Tanabe are good but Tein sustains the normal ride of the car best.

Doubt it. Unless they package a spring/strut combo(matched set) for the front, and a spring/shock for the rear.

With DF's and over 25,000 miles on the stock struts/shocks, I haven't noticed any change yet in the ride, but I know these wont last forever.

If looking to go lower then 2", Id just suggest coilovers.

Yeah I'm not wanting to throw that much money in a DD, To bad ground control or someone didn't make a kit. I guess its Tanabe's for now.

For myself, I dropped my Yaris with 1,3" Apex and it's not as low as I wanted. Next summer, I'll buy TEIN coilover kit. Do not cut anything.

Has anyone installed Dampers on their Yari yet? I want to drop my Yari but also want the ability to adjust the ride height for daily commute and for highway runs.
Anybody recommend a particular brand? I was thinking of getting TEIN's Dampers.

Few members here have them..

Megan, Cusco, Tein, etc...

Do a search on "coilovers" and you should see quite a bit.
