I have not noticed any change in MPG. But my main functional reason for putting the panel on there was protection from the junk on the road. It seems that around Tampa (on the highways at least) there is a fair amount of debris - strips of rubber from truck tires and other junk ...not ALL over the road of course, but enough that I was concerned. I'd had several times where I'd swerved to avoid stuff - or straddled it and HOPED that I was high enough off the ground that it wouldn't do any damage. I feel a lot better with that panel under there.

Changing oil is easy. Less than 5 minutes of total added time to take the panel off and put it back on.

THAT is very cool! ...also cool that you have access to a lift. Many years ago I worked at a gas /service station, and having that hydraulic lift was SUCH a nice side benefit!

Not if you do the relocation kit. I plan on trimming a hole in the panel and attaching it back with some bolts to make it easy to remove for oil changes.

i have this panel on my xA.. odd directions.. a little "translation" and i figured it out.. with a couple extra bolts to spare??? but it stiffened up my bumper at least (good for cone killing)

the under tray bangs into my oversized oil return line :(

It will work with the 2 point bar pictured in post # 20. The underpanel only appears to extend to behind the front of the front arms. The GT spec 2 point crossmember brace bolts behind that area.

I don't think it will work with the 4 point ladder brace without cutting the underpanel. It looks to be minor cutting on the rear of the underpanel, and minor fab work to secure it.

Here is the beatrush 4 pt.
