if it happened at work and there is any doubt, go get it checked, do it on company time and fill out the appropriate workmans comp forms its all on the employer's dime, and you get healthy.

Leave the band aids on for about two days before pulling them off, unless you can tell that you have not stopped bleeding. When was the last time you had a tetanus shot? It may be worthwhile getting checked out by a doctor at your employers’ expense. Gangrene would not be fun.

hmm yeah.
if its bad i'll file comp.
one girl cut the tip of her finger off in the slicer... she had to get comp.... turns out it was barely anything and now the manager's christmas bonuses have to be taken away to pay for the hospital expense...

doesnt seem right, does it?

nope doesn't sound right at all, i'm no expert though i believe that every employer pays into comp as a tax and weather or not claims are filed makes no difference. Then again i could be wrong, though it doesn't sound right.

Pondering this exchange: Vet "oh so when do you intend to get your kitten neutered?" Fiance "he is neutered" Vet "nope he has balls, see" *squeezes* fiance "well they said he was neutered at the shelter and the paperwork says it too" Vet "nope he has ballls, he isn't nuetered" Fiance: flabberghasted by the mounting vet costs "could they have grown back or something?" Vet "um no"
