That is horrible they broke into your car :( THat really sucks about your laptop! Would that be covered by insurance?

Thankfully laptops are real cheap these days, hope you had your stuff backed up some place.

except for the fact that my laptop was custom built with xp less than a year ago... to the tune of $1000... super suck... fml...

Yup. You can't leave anything in your car these days, especially not in plain view. The last time they broke into my car, they took the factory radio

mine was hidden under my drivers seat... completely out of view... they could not have found it until they were already in my car...

Bamboo should be on his way to me soon, which is good. I'm on my first summer break in 10 years and I need something to keep me busy (I am still looking for a job/volunteering). Looking forward to taking bamboo around Pittsburgh! :) I'll have to get a shot of him in front of MeLOLon arena before they demolish it.

Was put in the mail Friday, so should be here sometime this week.

EDIT: correction, today. Seems there was a slight error with the mail on Friday and he was RTS. Was put in the mail again today. :) Also, I have a tracking number so, he'll be here soon.

I kinda pampered the lil guy (I'm sure there will be a pic of his arrival shortly...lol) so yeah, I would have to say I think the panda has a thing for me ;) LOL What happened was the post office claims that I didn't make the address clear enough to read ... which I think is crap because I have bubbly girl writing, so I just don't think they just don't like me. hahah

Sorry I haven't been posting much guys - it was finals, and then work, and now I am leaving tomorrow for Tennessee for a few days to get away from everything that's been going on at home ... so I haven't been on here.

After Wednesday I'll be back on full time again haha

I am really excited to see Bamboo2 see PA :)
