well it looks like i may be getting a red 5spd instead of the silver one i had originally planned on.... should be in around the 14th and if i'm not happy with the color they have a silver one already on order for the next shipment

It is for emergency towing. You remove the cover and install a towing eyelet so you can safely tow your car. The instructions are on page 242 of your Owner's Manual

Yes you are right. I've just checked out my stock tach for you and the red line is at exactly 6,500. The red zone ranges from 6,500 to 8,000.

This past sunday I saw for the first time on the road a Yaris liftback! It was a red one! I was so excited! Sad I know! I drove past it on the highway, man did it look amazing! I was like damn I want this car!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think pictures do justice, then again I don't think they do justice with most cars, it seems (for me) if I see it in person its better.
