I've received my LEDs from V-LEDs just then and installed! I've to say "This is Awesome! Extremely Bright and just fit except for Number Plate (11 LED 194 bulbs) :( A little bit long but still managed to install into it.

If you take the discount into effect, my shipping to Canada was like $10. It took about a week. Why rush delivery when you live so far away, like in Australia?

That's like saying almost pregnant. :)

Vleds are awesome, and the shipping is quite fair, especially when you use the discount coupon.

For both, you will need a very small flat head screw driver.

The map light covers can be removed by placing the screw driver in the center gap, in between the pair. Then press towards the outside, away from the centre. Each of the covers are on 2 small pop-off hinges, located at each corner nearest the center. It might help if you move the screw driver towards one of the hinges, while keeping it in the center gap, then apply the pressure towards the outside, as mentioned.

The trunk light is held on by a plastic clip, under the grey plastic of the interior. Itcan be popped off by inserting the screw driver on the front edge of the light housing and lifting upward and out.

thanks! i'm also wondering if the screwdriver will scratch the grey plastic if i apply too much pressure. i actually tried to do that to my trunk light with the screwdriver i use for my computer screws, but was afraid i might break the clips or scratch the interior.

Try using a credit card to pry it out.

If you're careful, it shouldn't scratch. Good idea about the credit card, but I am not sure how much leverage you can get from that. Plus, I am not sure the credit card is a Genuine Toyota Approved technique (inside joke!).

So far, mine have all been fine from VLEDS.COM. Even if they go, I am willing to buy more because the brighter light and color quality is worth it, versus stock.

My VLEDs are fine too. Haven't had a burnout yet, but it's only been around 4 months. The Hi-LEDs in my '07 LB never burned out the two years I had it.

edit:
i got the map lights! but looks like i bought bulbs a little too long in length... lols~ i think i'll look for another pair smaller, so the lens doesn't pop out every time i turn them on...

Question about the maps lights: Is the light more directional now with the LEDs vs. the stock bulbs? or is the light still going everywhere?
