I just busted the 5k mile mark. Most of the last 1k miles have been Chitown heavy, so I'm eager to see if my MPGs start to tick up or drop.

i'm at 27 thousand and some change drive downtown every weekend for work and took the car to wisconsin over last summer and to florida this past January! Averaged about 33-38mpg for the whole trip! Chicago Gas prices are terrible!!!

I wouldn't worry about that Yoda...
Yaris, Scion, and Prius are all at the tops of the reliability lists... and they all use the same basic 1.5 engine. Just change the oil and yours will last a long long time.

11,800 as of today. August 1, 2013 (tomorrow!) will the one year anniversary of the date I took delivery of my 2012 Yaris.

my car is 3 weeks old (goes for her first month inspection next week) and she has 600ks on the clock. I have only half filled her since ownership. She is a little red rocket !

Yeah, this little 1.5L engine is already proven to run over 600,000 miles. There's Yaris and Echo examples proving this. Probably the most reliable regular gas engine in the world.

The engine will outlast your own humanity.
