one thing; i just read peter's diy
and i know that he had to make the whole bigger for the projectors, but you didn't. and i dont own a dremel.
did you have to use a dremel for anything?

i used a dremel to cut a notch in the relector housing and to sand the paint off a spot for the grounging point. I'm sure you can get by with a flat file though. just might take a little longer.

Yes, it's a bi-xenon. Hi beam works perfect also. No pics yet though.

mine was labeled 6000K but I didn't expect the output was yellowish instead of white-bluish.


Oh yea one more question Brian, Does the H4 ring adapter sits your projector properly? or did you discard them to get your desire level on the light output?

hmm looks like that adapter ring are purely for LH driver cause our (asia) design will shoot 140 degree angle with that ring fitted in... :(

did you have any trouble adjusting yours or did you just plug them in and they were already set to go pretty much?

I tried to adjust them but since the projectors hit the reflector housing they barely went lower than
the factory setting. I liked the height of the cut off so I left it alone. Just got back from a night drive
and I saw absolutly no glare and a perfect cut off. The cut off height is perfect and doesn't shine
into other peoples mirrors. A huge improvement from running my previous HIDs in the stock
housing. With my previous HIDs there was glare all over the place and would constantly shine
Into other driver's mirrors. With the projectors there is plenty of light on the road. I must
recommend that anyone with HIDs upgrade to these projectors, atleast for the safety and courtesy
of the other driver's.

Hey brian, I've never had an HID kit before, so I was wondering if this was normal; When I turn on the low beams, it takes a few seconds to "warm up." It's not as bright at first. But then the projectors get brighter gradually, until it's peak. Are you experiencing this too? Or is this even normal?

Also, i've had this happen a couple of times; when I go to just turn the halos on, they won't turn on immediately. Maybe a few seconds, then they pop on. I know those don't have to "warm up," because I usually can just turn the halos on and they turn on right away. However, one time I tried to turn the halos on, and they didn't turn on. It wasn't until I flipped my lights on all the way ( to turn the low beams on ), is when the halos went on too. Then I turned the projectors off and just left the halos on, and it seemed to work fine after that. Very strange. It can't be a wiring issue, because all the lights DO work. It just depends on how long they want to take for them to eventually turn on ( the halos ). Hopefully this isn't a sign of bad things to come? dun dun dun.......

On a positive note, I've had many compliments on the headlights. I am extremely glad I went with blacking out the housings, and it gives my car a much more sportier, less eco-box feel IMO!!!!!!!!

I had this problem too and culprit it's at the controller (square size little black box) that comes with the wiring harnesses. While having the issue of slow respond on the Halo (left side only), it will slowly died off.

Just to make sure that Box was the culprit, you can switch between the two Box to see which ones are faulty. There's a connector on the bottom of the box so just unplug them, not the whole wiring. Hope this helps.

I haven't had any problems with my halos so far. The only thing I can suggest is to double check
and make sure there are no loose wires.
