My 08 sedan came with a tach, not sure of its relevance in the Yaris, i can only assume its meant to look sporty/cool or to tell psuedo racer boi's what their rpm's are, real racers dont need a tach to tell them when to shift.

I have the 07 Sedan, but mine was the power package and came with the tach.
