It baffles me that they would spend the time to mask off the head, tail, and marker lights rather than just pop them off.

I know, I was going to say something but I figured they already went through all the trouble of masking...and since I'm staying with a black base it wouldn't make a difference.

Haha I was wondering if anyone else noticed that.. and the Toyota symbol that stayed on throughout the prep work.

If the new color is similar, it will be very difficult to tell. And with the mega-miles he puts on, he doesn't need a showroom paint job. I'd mask the whole thing too.

Yeah, that was my bad... I decided to remove the emblem after they started, it was a last minute change up on my part.

The paint has been chosen, Nothing crazy(sorry) but I'll post pics up as soon as I get them.

This is right out of paint(as of late last night). It still needs a wet sand, etc. I'll take pics with a real camera so you can see the "rainbow prism" when I get it home tomorrow...Iphone wasn't cutting it. When it gets home I have to put in the cage(the main part is already in the car, I didn't want to scratch anything so I tossed it in before paint) and the KIDO coilovers. :)

The color is Black sand pearl with extra pearl(calls for white pearl if you can believe that) and "rainbow prism" added in the mid-coat. In the dark it's black, when the light hits it the rainbow fleck explodes(not literally) and has an emerald green sheen to it. They did a light coat of the prism across the top of the carbon fiber hood too, just enough to know it's there.

It was a great eight year run, but it was time to focus on other things. I'm still selling parts on eBay under micro*image seller ID and customers can still make requests for anything specific.
