Moved to a new house last December. With more space available, I have become more active as a ham radio operator. Now that we are out of lockdown, I can go sailing again (I tow my Hobie Tandem Island with the Yaris) and have also been able to resume my weekly visits to the Pistol Range.

Anything 2-wheel for me.
I buy used cheap, fix 'em up and sell 'em.

ill start with the "rc" problems...

i do alot of scratch/mod builds

what you have here is a "pair" of bruder toy trucks, ones stone stock, the other is heaviliy modified on custom mounts and hand made/turned "drift" wheels sitting on an HPI awd chassis

the collection..well..part of it anyway

some of the "random" projects

cutting up cars and ..i mean SERIOUS mods...i started with 24/25th scale, stopped one day and checked to see if the "skills" transfered to 1:1 scale...and they did

this is where the "model" work started ..a 70 dodge 3/4ton long box camper special...it was given to me for free.running...no reverse title in hand..its smaller than an early datsun pickup.id wager its about on par with a yaris in size

a few misc projects

this..this is "eurosled"....a serious long term project of mine that life has halted many times...
1958 lloyd alexander TS kombi...sitting on an 87 alfa milano platinum chassis and running gear(engine swap to 3.8 quad cam alfa stroker in progress)....milano shortened 28 inches to get the lloyd wheelbase of just under 8ft(yes smaller than an original minicooper and by proxy conisderable smaller than a yaris)..current weight RUNNING with mocked 12gal of fuel 1800 lbs, perfect 50/50 weight balance...total length of under 12ft bumper to bumper, and narrower than a mini as well, factory suicide doors, 54 chevy hood heavily modified, jag xj6 headlights, 58 ford grill and partial dash, 54 for cluster, dash console and speedo placement inspired by yaris, seats from a jdm van, 8 inches of hand fabbed wide body, yaris heater,

I can't afford this hobby, but every first weekend in June, there is the WWII Weekend in Reading, PA. I usually ride out with my motorcycle and walk though the festivities:

I recently just started a YT channel about my RC monster truck hobby.

It's mostly solid axles monster trucks, but then again, if they're not solid axles and not 4WS capable I don't consider it a monster truck even if they have big tires. But that's just my opinion...

Here's my channel:

And my slightly bashing my modified Tamiya Juggernaut. It runs on a single 1/8 scale motor.
