And NO grits and cream of wheat are not the same. Grits with salt, pepper, butter, maybe some cheese and some red eye gray and country ham. Now that's breakfast.

When we were stationed in Hawaii lots of us got together on Christmas morning so all our kids could celebrate together. Always made grits and red eye gravy, special request from a Pennsylvania guy. His wife had no clue.

The South is unique, but most areas have their own special qualities.

Red eye gravy... is it called that because it is made with coffee? I can't remember now, but I want to say that is the case.

And yes, I know grits and cream of wheat arent the same, but they're similar. Honestly, its a moot point because I'm the type of person that will eat almost anything and enjoy it. Boy can cook, too... I've got an entire hotel staff hooked on my roasted red pepper cajun alfredo.

Yes, made with coffee. That's what gives it the color, flavor from frying the ham. OK, now I've given away an old southern secret.

Hey, i've lost 8 pounds so far (since thanksgiving) by eating subway every day for lunch. I dont exercise, I don't eat right other than that. Just cuts out a bunch of calories that I used to put into myself by eating Wendy's every day. (one RIGHT by my work.)

I once lost 25 pounds eating nothing but Taco Bell and drinking beer.

Taco Bells my dinner food. I get it free.

But I'm an avid Mt. Dew drinker. No beer. And I don't lose weight from it. hehe.
