I gotta find a place that is OK with pets; we have a disabled mini dachshund and can't leave home without him :) I am going to search online and call a few places, but if anyone who lives in Nashville knows of any decent hotels (not $300 a night, I am cool with the Super 8 - as long as it's clean and I won't get robbed, I don't give a crap where I sleep) that are pet friendly, please let me know. :)

lol indeed.. no way am i driving for 6 days just to go to this.. im flying! and someone can cart me around..

and i think i got a darn good price for that hotel y'all stayin at...$700 for plane and hotel, thurs-mon.

The Comfort Inn we have reserved is pet friendly. I do not plan to bring any pups with me, but always appreciate the hotels that allow pets. I am staying Friday, Saturday and Sunday and may be able to add Thursday night as well. There are others reserved to stay there as well.

Rates for Friday and Saturday are $129 each and rates for Thursday and Sunday are $79 each. I think a pet is an additional $10 per night.

the ia meet does have tickets you have to buy, i think they were around $10 last year..idk i get in for free. :)

Attention Nashville meet mod migrants. John and I were talking about the meet earlier and he came up with a concern as well as a brilliant idea for us all. Mike is having the BBQ and our concern revolves around the safety of every attending. John's idea was to get a van rental for that evening and see if anyone would volunteer to be a Designated Driver. We do not want to see anyone have their good time side tracked by a stupid mistake and end up in jail, hurting someone etc. I'd be more than happy to look into this and if no one volunteers, I'd gladly be the captain of that ship. We just want everyone to have a good time. Let us know
